Biography

Dr. Marcia Reynolds, President of Covisioning LLC, is fascinated by the brain, especially what triggers feelings of connection, commitment, and possibility. She has coached leaders and taught programs in emotional intelligence, coaching skills, and leadership effectiveness in 43 countries and has presented at the Harvard Kennedy School and Cornell University.  She was the first to teach emotional intelligence classes in Russia, Kenya, and for US Health and Human Services agencies.

Dr. Reynolds is a pioneer in the coaching profession. She was one of the first members and the 5th Global President of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and was recently inducted as one of only 10 coaches in the world in their Circle of Distinction. She is on faculty for coaching schools in the US, Russia, China, and the Philippines. She is recognized by the Global Gurus as the No.5 Coach in the World. She also created the popular WBECS program, Breakthrough Coaching.

She has significant experience with teaching and coaching in the healthcare industry. She is the Training Director for the Healthcare Coaching Institute and has trained and coached many leaders for hospitals, clinics, laboratories, medical devices, and pharmaceutical companies.

Marcia has coached executives and high-potentials, and has delivered classes for leaders in the fields of telecommunications, energy, computer software and hardware, banking, and state and federal agencies. Her corporate training and leadership experience started in 1981. Her greatest success came from designing the Organizational Development program for a global manufacturing company facing bankruptcy. Within 3 years, the company turned around in 3 years and became the no.1 stock market success in 1993.

Marcia’s doctoral degree is in Organizational Psychology. She continues to research workplace behaviors, leadership effectiveness, and the science of motivation and engagement. She also holds 2 master’s degrees in education and communications.
