Gideon Culman, MCC, enjoys working as an executive coach in the beating heart of Washington, DC, USA. With a warm curiosity for exploring our shared humanity, Gideon feels driven to study classical literary traditions from all over the globe. His belief that the growing MCC community is an invaluable gift to the world has led Gideon to record and share a series of cozy conversational portraits through the Master Coach Collection podcast.
While Gideon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic as well as Masters of Arts in Liberal Arts and Eastern Classics from St. John’s College, he credits his wife, son, and daughter with providing the nonstop, daily education he needs to show up and be present in all the ways that you’d expect from an MCC. Gideon is psyched to learn who is responsible for keeping you on your toes.
The transformation from coaching student to seasoned practitioner and, ultimately, masterful coach is a unique experience, with every coach traveling the path at their own pace and encountering distinct challenges and opportunities along the way. Many coaches report that the journey is a life-changing experience of learning, development, and growth that broadens their own outlook on life and work, as well as their capacity to support clients.
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is committed to supporting coaches at every step of their coaching journey, starting from their first day in coaching education and throughout their careers. In this panel discussion, ICF Executives will discuss how the ICF supports coaches along this compelling journey.
