Managing a negatively-impactful boss is a necessary skill for those navigating their way to the top. The research is clear on the negative impact of dissonant leadership; but what are its implications for coaching?
In this session, you’ll explore The 4 ‘I’s of successfully managing a dark leader: Identification, Impact, Internal interventions and Interpersonal interventions. You’ll also get to look at case studies that clearly demonstrate how coaching in these situations can lead to success.
Feedback shows that people are afraid of your leadership client; but did they HEAR it? No one tells a powerful person the truth. Coaching can have an impact on the trajectory of an immovable client’s career and life.
In this session, you’ll discover cases of CEOs who shifted significantly from being experienced as bullies to being experienced as protectors, advocates and allies. You’ll also get clear steps you can take to implement this rewarding coaching.
