Biography
Dr. Andreas von der Heydt is the founder and managing director of AVDH Coaching & Consulting, a certified ICF PCC coach, and a Professional Fellow of the Institute of Coaching. He co-founded Amazon Germany’s Coaching Program and L’Oréal’s Mentoring Program, supporting leaders in developing high-impact coaching capabilities.
As an executive coach, Andreas advises CEOs and entrepreneurs worldwide. He has authored multiple books and articles on leadership and coaching. Andreas has also held executive board and senior leadership roles at Amazon, Chewy.com, L’Oréal, and Tchibo. Having lived and worked across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, he brings a global perspective to leadership development.
He holds a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in organizational leadership from Northeastern University (Boston, USA), an MBA from Henley Business School (UK), and degrees in management and economics from Ludwigshafen Business School (Germany). A native German, Andreas lives in Germany with his wife and two daughters.
