Pamela Prather

Pamela Prather is passionate about helping individuals unlock their voices and express their full potential as global communicators. As the Founder of Pamela Prather Coaching, she has coached executives to access their sparkle and increase their vocal power at leading organizations such as The Carlisle Group, APAX Partners, H.I.G. Capital, PepsiCo, Silver Lake, Perkins Coie, TA Associates, Netflix, Spotify, and Facebook, among others.

An Associate Professor Emerita at the Conservatory of Theatre at State University of New York (SUNY), Purchase, Pamela is also the Past-President of VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association). Her first book, The Voice Coach Toolkit, was published by Routledge in 2023. Pamela is frequently invited as a guest professor for executive education programs at Yale School of Management, drawing on her experience training Academy and Tony Award-winning actors at Yale School of Drama, NYU’s Playwright’s Horizon’s BFA program, UCLA, Marymount Manhattan College, AMDA, and The School for Film and Television. She has coached for off-Broadway and regional theaters, including over 23 productions at the Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre in Houston.

Pamela leads workshops and coaches actors and professionals nationally and internationally. She holds certifications in The Wim Hof Method, Prana Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Fitzmaurice Voicework, and Vibrant Voice Technique. She also created Laughing Voice®, a tool for expanding vocal range, resonance, emotional depth, and personal truth.
