Karen Bernstein

Karen Bernstein, CAE is an experienced executive with extensive background in professional development, governance and fundraising. As Vice President for Learning and Development with the International Coaching Federation, Karen oversees strategy, curation and delivery of educational content and leadership development across the organization.

Prior to ICF, Karen was Associate Director for Leadership & Governance Learning at ASAE, where she designed and implemented programming for C-Suite association executives. Previous positions include Director of Development and Assistant Camp Director at Capital Camps & Retreat Center, Executive Director of the Baltimore Institute for Jewish Communal Service, and Director of Human Resources for the Jewish Federations of Greater Washington and Milwaukee.

Karen holds an MSW from USC, a Masters in Jewish Communal Service from Hebrew Union College (HUC) and a BS in Social Ecology from UC Irvine. She is a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from HUC and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from ASAE.
