Jacinta M. Jiménez, PsyD, BCC is a Stanford-trained psychologist, award-winning author, keynote speaker, board-certified leadership coach, and Vice President of Coaching Innovation at BetterUp.
Her approach is based on synthesizing her deep knowledge of human behavior and applying it to the development of leaders, technology, and coaching programs. From this work, Dr. Jiménez was recognized as one of 2022’s Top 50 Women Leaders in San Francisco by Women We Admire. She was also named a top coach to follow by LA Weekly Magazine.
Her book, The Burnout Fix (McGraw Hill, 2021) was recognized as a top book about burnout by Business Insider. It was the winner of getAbstract’s prestigious 2021 International Book of the Year Reader’s Choice Award, and it was named a Best Book on Burnout & Recovery for 2022 by Choosing Therapy.
Alongside her Fellow role at the American Institute of Stress, Dr. Jiménez holds a certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University. She is also on the leadership team of WELL (Women Entrepreneurs & leaders laboratory) for digital health.
Dr. Jiménez earned a B.A. Psychology from Stanford University and an MS and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium, all with top academic distinction.
