Modules Overview
This course includes six Live Module sessions (2 hours each), combining theory and coaching demonstrations, focused on six advanced tools, six facilitated 2-hour Practicum sessions for implementation, and two 1-hour Office Hours for clarity on approaches and methodology, plus a final positioning module to help you market yourself as a Bronze Certified Red Team Coach.

Tool: Argument Dissection™:
An effective technique to identify and challenge logical fallacies.
In this session, coaches will collaborate to identify common logical fallacies and practice applying Argument Dissection through role-playing. They will work in small groups of 3 or 4 and conclude the session with a large group debrief led by the RTC Facilitator.

Tool: Five Whys & Outside-In Thinking:
An essential tool to uncover the external factors that impact plans.
Coaches will practice using two tools: Five Whys and Outside-In Thinking, taking on the roles of both coach and coachee. They will work in small groups of 3 or 4 and conclude the session with a large group debrief led by the RTC Facilitator.

In this session, the participants will get the opportunity to ask clarifying questions, get additional insights on the concepts and techniques, learn about real-world coaching challenges their peers have, and gain different perspectives and experiences from other coaches using the tools.

Tool: Influencer Engineering:
An essential tool to map out internal and external stakeholders, pinpoint their positions, and turn them into allies.
Coaches will work together to identify and map the stakeholders in a sample plan using Influencer Engineering. They will collaborate in small groups of 3 or 4 and conclude the session with a large group debrief led by an RTC Facilitator.

Tool: Four Ways of Seeing & Influencer Engineering:
A tool to help clients understand the perspectives of key stakeholders.
Coaches will collaborate to practice using the Four Ways of Seeing tool through a case study. They will work in small groups of 3 or 4 and conclude the session with a group debrief led by the RTC Facilitator.

Tool: C-Change™:
A tool to identify gaps, such as gaps between aspirations and reality.
Coaches will practice using the C-Change Tool on themselves, helping each other identify and address gaps in their own coaching practices. Through this process, they will also learn how to support their clients in doing the same. They will work in small groups of 3 or 4 and conclude the session with a group debrief led by an RTC Facilitator.

The Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification (Level 2) course offers coaches an opportunity to become accredited as Bronze Certified Red Team Coaches.. It is also a prerequisite for those who wish to become Silver Certified Red Team Coach and Gold Certified Red Team Coach.
The Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification (Level 2), provides additional 33 hours of live learning and access to additional 6 Red Team Coaching tools. While Red Team Coaching (Level 1) builds a solid foundation in critical thinking and decision-making, Bronze Certification goes further, and includes powerful techniques like Argument Dissection™, Toyota’s Five Whys, and Influencer Engineering™, helping coaches overcome advanced decision-making barriers, such as logical fallacies, and allowing for more strategic, systemic work with clients.
By completing both levels, you’ll receive a seamless, progressive learning experience that builds upon Level 1’s foundation with Level 2’s advanced skills, earning you Bronze Certified Red Team Coach designation.
Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification is open to anyone who has successfully completed the Red Team Coaching (Level 1) course.
In RTC Bronze Certification, you will learn 6 new tools:
Argument Dissection™: This valuable technique will enable you to help their clients objectively assess and evaluate proposals, plans, and strategies to uncover not only unconscious bias, but also conscious attempts to skew decision-making in favor of a particular course of action.
Toyota’s Five Whys: This proven tool is used by some of the most successful companies and leaders in the world to understand the root causes of problems in order to address them effectively.
Outside-in Analysis: This tool was created to help identify and understand the way that macro events – things like the economy, geopolitics, socio political issues, new technologies, and other external factors – impact our plans and strategies so that we can think more strategically and plan more effectively.
Influencer Engineering™: This is designed to identify the different internal and external stakeholders that could impact plans and strategies positively or negatively, as well as the relative level of influence that each is capable of exerting, in order to blunt the opposition of potential adversaries and enlist the support of potential allies.
Four Ways of Seeing: Used in conjunction with Influencer Engineering, this tool helps clients see how their actions, plans, and strategies are viewed by key stakeholders and consider their perspectives as well as their own.
C-Change™: This proprietary tool was developed by Red Team Thinking to help those responsible for implementing plans and strategies identify the disconnects the stated objectives and the actual execution in order to close those gaps and achieve the desired out.
Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification is a 9-week course consisting of 6 modules. Modules 1-6 will consist of:
Both the Module and Practicum sessions will be delivered in the same week to ensure you have an opportunity to apply what you learn in each Module session while it is still fresh in your mind.
In addition, in Week 3 and Week 6, there will be a 60-min Office Hours session for addressing questions and sharing experiences and insights.

To be successful in the course, expect to invest around 4-5 hours per week on Module weeks, for a total of 33 hours across the total of 9 weeks in the period from April 14th to June 12th, 2025.
Each module includes about 1 hour of pre-work, a 2-hour Module session, and a 2-hour Practicum session. Additionally, in Weeks 3 and 7, there isn’t any pre-work, just the 60-minute Office Hour sessions for answering questions and sharing insights.
This schedule combines live sessions with independent work to allow for both interactive and flexible learning.
Yes, all Module and Office Hour sessions are recorded and available within 48 hours, accessible in the Learning Center. Practicum sessions, however, are not recorded.
In Practicum sessions, you’ll apply tools learned in weekly Module sessions, practice coaching, and receive peer feedback in small learning groups, fostering a community of support and learning.
To graduate and earn the Bronze Certified Red Team Coaching designation, you must:
Graduates of Red Team Coaching will receive the Bronze Certified Red Team Coach title.
You don’t need to do anything to uphold your designation. Once you’ve earned it by completing the course and meeting the graduation requirements, your designation is yours to keep without the need for renewal or additional actions.
Yes, Red Team Coaching is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), awarding 33 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Units, broken into 20.5 Core Competencies (CC) and 12.5 Resource Development (RD) Units.
Credits become eligible upon meeting the minimum graduation requirements.
Yes! The Red Team Coaching course is accredited by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) getting you a 33 Professional Development Credits (PDCs).
