Session Description:

In the Q&A portion of the session, coaches will get a chance to clarify anything still unclear from the course. In the content part of the session, coaches will learn about the difference between facts and assumptions, and gain an understanding of how weak assumptions can undermine plans and strategies. They will learn how to identify stated and unstated assumptions, how to rank assumptions based on the risk they pose to the strategy or plan, and finally a powerful red teaming technique for identifying and challenging assumptions.         7. Will there be video/audio recordings of the sessions in case I can’t attend?

        Yes, absolutely! All* of the sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the exclusive Learning Center within 48 hours of the session.

        *Exceptions to this are the Practicum sessions, which due to technical limitations can’t be recorded.

        8. How much time do I need to build into my calendar for the course?

        For the Red Team Coaching course, expect to invest around 4-5 hours per week on module weeks, for a total of 23 hours in the period from January 14 to March 4, 2025. 

        For Bronze Certification, which follows after, expect to invest 5-6 hours per week on module week, for a total of 32.5 hours in the period from April 7 to May 29, 2025.

        9. What are Practicum sessions?

        The Practicum sessions are structured to blend theoretical learning with practical application, providing a comprehensive and interactive experience. At the beginning of the course, you will be asked to select and join one of the Practicum Groups, depending on which time suits you the most. As part of your first Practicum session, you will be randomly broken into Learning Groups of 4 based on your coaching experience. This will be your pod for the rest of the course.

        Prior to each session, you will receive an activity guide with an agenda – starting with an introduction covering the theoretical background of the framework in focus, followed by planned exercises, and concluding with a plenary session for sharing insights and reflections. 

        The Practicum Facilitator will guide the session to ensure everyone has the opportunity to voice their questions, share their experiences, and receive feedback.

        10. What are the graduation requirements?

        To graduate from Red Team Coaching, you must:

        • Complete all the Pre-work;
        • Attend or watch all 4 Module sessions;
        • Attend 3 out 4 Practicum Sessions;
        • Complete the Final Assessment (with 100% accuracy).

        Upon successfully completing the Red Team Coaching, and if continuing to the next level, to graduate from Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification, you must:

        • Complete all the Pre-work;
        • Attend or watch all 6 Module sessions;
        • Attend 5 out 6 Practicum Sessions;
        • Complete the Final Assessment (with 100% accuracy).

        In both courses, the multiple-choice Final Assessment consists of two parts – knowledge, which is designed to test your grasp of the core concepts of Red Team Coaching or Bronze Certification, and understanding, which is designed to assess your ability to integrate Red Team Coaching or Bronze Certification concepts into your coaching practice.

        The assessment will be made available in the last week of the course, but you can retake the assessment as many times as you need in order to achieve that score.

        11. Is there a designation I will obtain upon completing the graduation requirements?

        Graduates who fulfill the graduation requirements of the Red Team Coaching will be awarded the Red Team Practitioner designation, and graduates of Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification, will be awarded the Bronze Certified Red Team Coach.

        12. Do I need to do anything to uphold my designation?

        You don’t need to do anything to uphold your designation. Once you’ve earned it by completing the course and meeting the graduation requirements, your designation is yours to keep without the need for renewal or additional actions.

        13. Is the course accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF)?

        Yes! Both the Red Team Coaching and Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification courses are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) with a Continuing Coach Education (CCE) accreditation.

        Completing Red Team Coaching will get you a 23 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Units – broken into 17.5 of Core Competency (CC) and 5.5 of Resource Development (RD) Units.

        While Completing Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification will get you a 32.5 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Units – broken into 20.5 of Core Competency (CC) and 12 of Resource Development (RD) Units.

        CCE Units can be used towards renewing one of ICF’s individual credentials – ACC, PCC or MCC. Please visit the ICF website to learn more about the individual accreditation process: coachingfederation.org/credentials-and-standards/renew-credential.

        Units become eligible upon meeting the minimum graduation requirements.

        14. Is the course accredited by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)?

        Yes! The Red Team Coaching course is accredited by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) getting you a 24.5 Professional Development Credits (PDCs). 

        Red Team Coaching Bronze Certification will get you additional 32.5 PDCs.

        Credits become eligible upon meeting the minimum graduation requirements.
